Procida Ferries

About us

procidaferries.com is an independent comparison site for the sea crossings to Procida, the smallest of the islands in the Gulf of Naples. Caremar carries the year-round backbone: the ferries from Naples and from Pozzuoli and the sailings to and from Ischia. SNAV runs the hydrofoils from Naples and Casamicciola. Medmar and local operators also serve the Pozzuoli corridor on dates that vary by season. Alicost and Alilauro Gruson link the island with Capri, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast on seasonal services.

Two things trip people up before they ever reach the water. The first is the pier. In Naples the car ferries leave from Calata Porta di Massa and the hydrofoils from Molo Beverello, a quarter of an hour apart on foot, and a ticket bought for the wrong one is a missed sailing. The second is the car: Procida closes the island to non-resident vehicles for most of the year, in 2026 from 30 March to 15 October, so for the majority of visitors the arrival is on foot and the vehicle fare never comes up. What is left to weigh is time against money and where you are staying: the hydrofoil from Beverello against the cheaper ferry, Pozzuoli as the short way over for anyone arriving by car, and the hop from Ischia, which turns two islands into one trip.

What this site is not

procidaferries.com is an independent guide and not the website of Caremar, SNAV or any other operator on these routes. It is not a Procida travel guide: Marina Corricella, the beaches, hotels, restaurants and boat tours belong to other sites, and so does Ischia beyond the crossing itself. We sell no tickets here. The booking runs through our partner Direct Ferries, and their current prices, availability and terms apply.
